CRUDE OIL
Clearly the crude oil market has entered a period of expanded two-sided volatility with yesterday’s sudden and significant bullishness partially reversed this morning. In addition to a slight risk off vibe from rising infections and geopolitical tensions between the US and China, the crude oil market should remain under pressure as-a-result of a surprisingly large jump in crude oil inventories from the API yesterday afternoon.
NATURAL GAS
While the natural gas market might have seen some support from the notable improvement in global economic psychology yesterday, it will take a very significant improvement in forward economic expectations to bring the market out from under an entrenched oversupply condition.
